Albania celebrated the Bread Festival - "Festa del Pane" organised at the stage of the Bio-Mediterranean Cluster in order to promote the bread as a symbol of solidarity, sharing, and people’s equality as well as a fundamental element of the Mediterranean diet.
We prepared our traditional "Bukë Misri", a bread with yellow corn flour, shaped as the double-headed eagle of our National Flag, served with typical Albanian cherry jam.
